Dear Sherry, Our deepest sympathy to you at the loss of your Mom. She was such a wonderful lady who I'm sure will be greatly missed. I am priviledged to have known her and grateful for the little talks I had with her. I will miss seeing her at Grant but I am rejoicing that she is now with her Savior and the rest of her family that she has been reunited with. May God bless you and comfort you as you grieve the loss of you dear Mother. I pray this will be a comfort to you. Absent with the body, present with the Lord. In His Grace, Carol and Todd

Sherry, You have my deepest sympathy. Your Mom was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I would visit with her each time I went to see my sister, Carol. She would always say "come in" and would always ask about Carol. I know you will miss her but have the peace that she is with the Lord and you will be with her again in eternity. Love, Wanda

Marlena Moore (03/30/2012 10:12 pm)

My name is Marlena Moore. I am very sorry for your loss. When we lose someone we love it is a very hard thing for us to deal with. Did you know that you can find comfort during this troubling time in you life? God gives us that comfort thru His word the Bible. We have the promise that God will “swallow up death forever” according to Isaiah 25:8. Wouldn’t you like to see this happen? How about the grand promise that He will actually resurrect our loved ones back to life!? Not to the life that they lived before they died, but to a life free of crime, disease, old age, etc. How do we know this is possible? The Bible has many examples of people who were resurrected from the dead. One in particular is Lazarus. After being dead for four days, Jesus Christ resurrected him from the dead. John 5:28, 29 and Acts 24:15 helps us to see that a resurrection of our loved ones IS possible. So please take comfort in knowing that God knows your pain and is willing to help you cope with it until you are able to see your loved one again! The book "What Does the Bible Really Teach?" gives us real hope for our loved ones who have died. Chapter 7 of this book answers the questions: How do we know that the resurrection will really happen? How does Jehovah feel about resurrecting the dead? and Who will be resurrected? If you would like to know more and/or a copy of this book please see one of Jehovah's Witnesses in your area.
