As a child we lived up the road from Mrs. Risen. At that time Mr. Risen was playing for the Boston Celtics and we would see him a small screen TV. When he came to visit a bunch of little boys would go to her house. We couldn't believe anyone like him came from our town. Mr. Risen was always so kind and patient with us. He was not only a very gifted basketball player, he was a very nice man. His autographs and related items are still sold on NBA sites. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.
