Alan Lee Bogen

June 24, 1951 — August 24, 2018

Mr. Alan L. Bogen passed away at his residence in Alexandria on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the age of 67. He was the husband of Kathy Holaday-Bogen.

Mr. Bogen was born on June 24, 1951 to the late Roy Frank Bogen and Alice Jean Hub. He was a graduate of Campbell County High School and continued on to earn his bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. On November 17, 1984, Alan was united in marriage to Kathleen Merrill.

Mr. Bogen was retired from R.A. Jones as a mechanical engineer. He loved country music and his favorite hobby was railroading.

In addition to his wife Kathy, Alan is survived by his daughter Lori (Tony) Lederer of Alexandria, KY, two brothers, Neal J. (Patsy) Bogen of Alexandria, KY, Paul E. (Sheila) Bogen of Cold Springs, KY, three grandchildren, Wyatt, Morgan, Kendall and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 11am-1pm at the Alexandria Funeral Home in Alexandria, KY. Funeral will follow at 1pm. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorials are suggested to Bethesda North, c/o Holiday Train Display, Attn: Shanna Barton, 10500 Montgomery Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242. Elliston - Stanley of Crittenden is handling arrangements.
