Mrs. Mary Catherine Sutherland of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Wednesday, August 22 at the Grant Center Nursing Home at the age of 87. Mrs. Sutherland was born July 31, 1930 in Cincinnati, OH. to the late John and Mabel Herzner. Mrs. Sutherland was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sutherland was preceded in death by her husband: Earl Richard Sutherland in 1984 and by a daughter: Vickie Ann Sutherland Lyons in 2008.

Mrs. Sutherland is survived by a son in law, a grandson: Eric Lyons and her close friends and neighbors: Pat and Cheryl McDonough of Dry Ridge, KY.

Graveside services and burial will be conducted 11:45 am Tuesday, August 28 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 West Third Street, Dayton, OH. 45428 with Rev. Damien Hils officiating.
