James Louis Morgan

February 10, 1935 — August 1, 2018

James Louis "Jim" Morgan was born Feb. 10, 1935 in Madison Co., Kentucky and passed away August 1, 2018 in Florence, Kentucky at the age of 83. He was the son of the late Charlie and Julia Mae Isaacs Morgan.

Jim was a retired self employed Masonry Contractor and was a member of the Jehovah's Witness in Walton, Kentucky. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and had the nickname "Catfish Jim".

On June 30, 1956 Jim was united in marriage to Sherry Ann Foley Morgan. In addition to his wife of 62 years he was survived by 3 daughters: Cindy Jo Morgan McCoy (Art) of Florence, Ronda Gail Morgan Loveless (Brian James) of Covington and Shelia Renee "Sheshe" Morgan of Dry Ridge; a brother: Ernie Morgan of Dry Ridge; 7 sisters: Juanita Morgan of Dry Ridge, Daisy Hudson of Morningview, Violet Morgan of Dry Ridge, Fern Morgan of Alabama, Rosemary Holland of Crittenden, Delois Mulberry of Williamstown and Barbara Jean Vaughn of Crittenden; 4 grandchildren: Amanda Lee Holmes Reed, Misti Gail Holmes Lutes, Leland James Holmes and Jodi Blaze McCoy; and 9 great grandchildren: Josie Hyden, Jacey Loveless, Sadie Holmes, Jillian Holmes, Hope Adams, Harrison Holmes, Avigail Lutes, Vienne Reed and Kaelin Reed.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 80 Brookwood, Walton, Kentucky. Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall. Burial will be in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY.
