In addition to his parents, Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Bowen and by a sister: Janet Colston.
Mr. Bowen is survived by daughters: Melissa Shipp of Dry Ridge, KY., Bradie Courtade and her husband Dr. Daniel Courtade of Ft. Thomas, KY., grandchildren: Morgan Shipp, Gabriel Courtade, Noah Courtade, sisters: Wanda Meece of Dry Ridge, KY., Cheryl Leach of Williamstown, KY., Marilyn Schmitzer of Mt.Vernon, IN., brothers: Steve Bowen of Williamstown, KY. and Paul Bowen of Demossville, KY.
Funeral services for Mr. Jackie Allen Bowen will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, August 4 at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, 6640 KY. Highway 467, Demossville, KY. 41033 with Rev. Mark Boettcher officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, August 4 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Those serving as pallbearers are: Steve Bowen, Donald Landrum, Richard Leach, Daniel Courtade, Bobby Simpson, David Dunaway and honorary pallbearers are: Paul Bowen and Gary Schmitzer.
Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the American Heart Association.
