Jess "Tom" Raymond Combs

Jess “Tom” Raymond Combs , 78, a Falmouth, KY resident passed away on July 10, 2018 in Mason Co., KY. Born in Hazard, KY on August 27, 1939, he was one of 14 children born to the late Mitchell and Flora Morgan Combs.

On July 23, 1960, at Deer Park Baptist Church in Cincinnati, OH, he was united in marriage to the former Phyllis Ann Combs. She preceded him in death on October 30, 2015.

Tom was owner and operator of Comb’s Trucking, based out of Falmouth, KY. He held memberships in the Grassy Creek Christian Church, DeMossville Masonic Lodge and the former Walton Lion’s Club.

Survivors include one son: Jessie Combs of Falmouth, KY; one daughter: Cindy Peterson of Florence, KY; one brother: Paul Combs of Alexandria, KY;three sisters: Helen, Linda and Pauline. Ten grandchildren also survive: J. B. Combs, Danni Lynn Combs, Reannon Peterson, Trevin Peterson, Tabatha Moening, Christine Beatty, Michael Disylvestro, Dennis Lee Simpkins, Jr., Jerry Hyatt and Tiffany Hyatt. Seven great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by a son: Dennis Lee Combs and a daughter: Sandra Kay Combs and numerous brothers and sisters.

A service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
