Evelene Burton

Mrs. Evelene Burton of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Sunday, July 1 at home at the age of 74.  Mrs. Burton was born March 18, 1944 in Casey County, KY. to the late Ernest and Rosa Ridner Dunham.  Mrs. Burton was retired from the Avon Corporation.  Mrs. Burton is fondly remembered for her love of family and friends, talking with her sisters, baking and spending restful times on her front porch.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Burton was preceded in death by sisters: Ernestine Hawes, Angelene Elliott, Christine McLean, Grace Floyd, Opal Martin, Magdalene Wiles and by brothers: Walter Leigh and Harold Dunham.

Mrs. Burton is survived by a son: Lonnie Roy and his wife Debbie of Dry Ridge, KY., 3 grandchildren: Leslie Covey and her husband Craig, Chelsie Zink and her husband Brad, Katelyn Roy, a great grandson: Carter Covey, 2 sisters: Isolene Adams of Russell Springs, KY. and Pauline Thompson of Reading, OH.

Funeral services were private and have been held.  Burial was in the Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt. Healthy, OH.
