June Griffin

February 17, 1928 - June 1, 2018

Mrs. June Chipman Griffin of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Friday, June 1 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 90.  Mrs. Griffin was born February 17, 1928 in Lawrenceville, KY. to the late Albert Sebree Chipman and Bertha Scroggins Chipman.  Mrs. Griffin was a homemaker and farmer and a member of the Lawrenceville Baptist Church.  Mrs. Griffin enjoyed quilting, sewing and reading.

Mrs. Griffin married James Manuel Griffin on July 30, 1945 and he passed away June 6, 2007.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by a son: Stacey Griffin and his wife Tammy of Williamstown, KY., daughters: Sherry Conley and her husband Randall of Williamstown, KY., Connie Taylor of Crittenden, KY., Jamie Talbot and her husband Jesse of Keefer, KY., she has 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. June Chipman Griffin will be conducted 4:00 pm Sunday, June 3 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Jay Holt officiating.  Visitation will be there on Sunday from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Gaugh Cemetery, Williamstown, KY.
