Mrs. Rosie Darlene Nantz Carrig of Georgetown, KY. passed away Sunday, May 20 at the Georgetown Community Hospital at the age of 65. Mrs. Carrig was born August 13, 1952 in Covington, KY. to the late Arnold Nantz and Dora Scott Nantz. Mrs. Carrig was a homemaker and a member of the Ironworks Community Church in Georgetown, KY. Mrs. Carrig loved lighthouses. She enjoyed singing and formerly sang with her family's southern gospel group. She enjoyed crocheting and formerly taught Sunday school at her church.
Mrs. Carrig is survived by her husband of 34 years, Thomas F. Carrig, a daughter: Rosie Chaffin and her husband Calvin of Georgetown, KY., sons: Thomas C. Carrig and his wife Autumn of Dry Ridge, KY., Colby Carrig and his wife Andrea of Warsaw, KY., a sister: Deana Wilson and her husband Danny of Williamstown, KY., brothers: Dewyene Nantz and his wife Brenda of Dry Ridge, KY., Jeff Nantz and his wife Debbie of Lexington, KY., Mitchell Nantz and his wife Lynn of Dry Ridge, KY., Jason Nantz and his wife Tammy of Dry Ridge, KY., 6 grandchildren: Calvin Chaffin, Jr., Lilly Chaffin, Erica McGuire, Emma Carrig, Eliza Carrig and Camdyn Carrig.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Darlene Nantz Carrig will be conducted 6:30 pm Thursday, May 24 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 North Main Street, Williamstown, KY. 41097 with Rev. Landon Scott officiating. Visitation will be there on Thursday, May 24 from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm.
Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
