On Sunday, April 29, 2018, Rebecca "Becky" Kay Wallace Angell was called home to be with the Lord. She was the daughter of the late Charles Ivan and Sylvia Beatrice Mangold Wallace.
On September 17, 1960 Becky was united in marriage
to Ronald Angell; a partnership that soon lead to them both entering the ministry in 1968 and becoming Reverend and Mrs. Ronald Angell
.
From this union three children were born: Ronita Kay Simpson and her friend, Allen Wolfe, of Williamstown, Reggie Angell of Dry Ridge and Robin Chapman and her husband, Roy, of Corinth. In addition to her loving husband and children, she is survived by her sister: Veronica Angell and her husband, Jim, of DeMossville; her grandchildren: Coleman T. Simpson, Ashlee P. Simpson, Rebecca E. Angell, Walker Wallace Angell, Ryan Chapman and his wife, Becky, and Rashelle Chapman; and her 10 month old great grandson: Rhett Chapman. Ronald G. Wallace, her brother, preceded Becky in death.
Mrs. Angell was well known throughout the local area as the wife of Rev. Ronnie Angell. She was a gifted and talented pianist who played at many churches. As a devout Christian she was a devoted and loving wife and mother. Her children knew her as "consistently kind and gentle with an innate ability to love and appreciate even the small things". Her great joy and pride was in her family, her church and helping others.
She was a member of the New Friendship Baptist Church near Sadieville. For much of her life she was a teacher's aide at the Mason Corinth Elementary school. Formerly she had worked for the Grant County Extension Service, Cincinnati Bell and the R. L. Polk Company.
