Gregory W. Blackburn

August 20, 1966 - April 12, 2018

Mr. Gregory Warren Blackburn of Corinth, KY. and formerly of Williamstown, KY. passed away Thursday, April 12 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. at the age of 51.  Greg was born August 20, 1966 in Covington, KY. to the late Warren J. and Louise Henry Blackburn.  Greg formerly worked for the KY. Department of Transportation and more recently worked as a custodian in the Grant County School Systems, working primarily at Dry Ridge Elementary School.  Greg enjoyed the outdoors, country music, fishing, and going on short trips.  Greg will be most fondly remembered by his family for his love of others and his willingness to do anything for anyone.  He enjoyed baking cakes and cookies and taking to people who were having a hard time in their lives and he adored all children.

Greg is survived by sisters: JoAnn Blackburn of Lexington, KY., Melody Davis of Corinth, KY., a niece: Trudie Vuntangboon and her husband Sam of Georgetown, KY. and several nieces and nephews.  He is also survived by a long time friend: Mike Adams of Cynthiana, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Gregory W. Blackburn will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, April 18 in the chapel of the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown with Rev. Jerry Spegal officiating.  Visitation will be there on Tuesday, April 17 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
