Ruth Gaugh Souder

August 14, 1927 - April 12, 2018

Ruth Gaugh Souder , age 90, died Thursday April 12, 2018 at Dover Manor Nursing Home in Georgetown, KY. Services will be Friday April 20, 2018 at the South Chapel of Stanley Funeral Homes, Williamstown location at 1:00 with Rev. Steve Barton officiating. Burial will be at Pythian Grove Cemetery in Berry, KY. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 1:00.

Ruth was born in Williamstown, KY on August 14, 1927 to the late Robert Kelly and Mary Elizabeth Caldwell Gaugh. On December 13, 1946 she was united in marriage to Andrew Souder; he preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker, a graduate of Holmes High School in Covington, KY and was a member of the Safe Harbor Baptist Church in Georgetown, KY.

Mrs. Souder is survived by one daughter: Sharon (late Charles) Thompson of Georgetown, KY; five grandchildren: Charles (Kelli) Thompson, John (Felicia) Thompson, Mandi (Chuck) Hudson, Kelli (Darrick) Lee, Molly (Joe) McComas; and 13 great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include: a daughter-n-law: Debbie (Rev. Steve) Barton of Dry Ridge, KY and a very special friend: Jean Fleek. She was preceded in death by two sons: Bryan Souder and Andrew Souder and a brother: John Kelly Gaugh.
