Mr. Kenneth Ray Stephenson of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Wednesday, April 11 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 81.  Mr. Stephenson was born March 24, 1937 in Dry Ridge, KY. to the late Floyd Stephenson and Thelma Roland Stephenson.  Mr. Stephenson was a retired machinist and quality control inspector for Meyer Tool and was a member of the Unity Baptist Church.  He also formerly worked for the Dry Ridge Walmart in various capacities.   Mr. Stephenson proudly served his country in the United States Army.  Mr. Stephenson enjoyed a good joke, and was a big University of Kentucky Basketball fan.  He was the family historian and could recall places and names of the past.  He will be fondly remembered by his family for his kind and generous nature.   In addition to his parents, Mr. Stephenson was preceded in death by his son: Jeff Stephenson on December 2, 2012 and by a brother: Franklin Stephenson who passed away many years ago.

Mr. Stephenson is survived by his wife of 58 years, Nancy Race Stephenson.  Other family members include Kelly Stephenson of Williamstown, KY., a brother: Floyd Stephenson, Jr. of Florence, KY., sisters: Shirley Kannady of Walton, KY., Wanda Robinson of Walton, KY., Kathryn Taylor of Dry Ridge, KY., and Linda Reynolds of Crittenden, KY.

There will be no visitation and services will be at the convenience of the family.  Inurnment will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY. with military honors.
