James Leonard Brumley

December 11, 1963 - April 2, 2018

James Leonard Brumley , 54 , of Corinth, KY passed away Monday April 2, 2018 at St.  Joseph Hospital in London,  KY.  Mr. Brumley was born on December 11, 1963 in Manchester, KY to the late Shade & Barbara Jean Glosser Brumley.  Mr. Brumley enjoyed listening to Bluegrass and Gospel music and spending time with his family. He will mostly be remembered by his squinted eyes and a smile that brightened any room.  He attended the New Columbus Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Brumley was preceded in death by a brother, Estill Brumley in 2013 and a sister, Debbie Sue Brumley in 1966.

Mr. Brumley leaves to mourn his passing, 3 sisters: Betty (Kelly) Gregory of London. KY, Donna (Robert) Wilson of New Columbus, KY, Henrietta House of Holiday, Florida; four brothers: Charles Brumley, Thomas Brumley, Gary Brumley and Billy (Leann) Brumley, all of New Columbus, KY. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Thursday April 5, 2018 at McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth, KY from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Friday April 6, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bruce Harrison officiating. Burial will be in the Caney Fork Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in James’ memory to the funeral home, toward the expenses of the funeral.
