Connelene Ann Elliott

Mrs. Connie Elliott passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence, KY on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the age of 73.  She was the wife of Harry Eugene Elliott.

On August 27, 1944, Mrs. Elliott was born to the late Ervin and Wilma Caldwell Baker. When Connie Baker was 15 yrs old, she met Eugene Elliott at the Walton Roller Rink.  It was love at first sight.  Nine months after her 18th birthday, on May 18, 1963, she was married to the love of her life, Eugene. From this point on, their family has described them as "inseparable".  She loved to travel with her husband, loved to read, listen to Alabama's country music, she was a former book-keeper for Western-Southern Insurance, she volunteered for 15 yrs for the Ladies Auxilliary Union Fire Department, and most recently she spent 18 yrs as a tax examiner for the IRS in Covington, KY.

In addition to her husband Eugene, she is survived by three sons, Jeffrey S. Elliott of Union, KY, J. Shane Elliott (Brenda) of Falmouth, KY, Aaron E. Elliott (Joy) of Burlington, KY, one daughter, Shawna M. Elliott (Chris) of Union, KY, two aunts, Wanda Iseral of Verona, KY, Anita "Diddi" Cox of Crittenden, KY, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Memorial visitation will be Friday, January 12, 2018 from 4pm-6pm at the Hamilton - Stanley Funeral Home in Verona, KY.  Memorial services will start at 6pm.  Pastor Randall Beach will be officiating the services.  An inurnment ceremony will take place at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park at a later date at the convenience of the family.  Memorials are suggested to the Boone County Animal Shelter,  5643 Idlewild Road, Burlington, KY 41005.
