Margaret “Peggy” James, 73, a Williamstown resident , passed away January 3, 2018 at her home. Born January 25, 1944 in Baltimore, MD; she was the daughter of the late Frank & Lillian Gerver McCullough.
She was a seamstress for Sizemore in Walton, KY; she was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and also served as the secretary for the Williamstown Senior Center. She loved playing video games, crossword puzzles, watching old movies, reading, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Peggy is survived by one daughter, Sandra (Larry) Lynn Holleman Lilly of Dry Ridge, KY; two brothers, Michael McCullough and David McCullough, all of Baltimore, MD, one sister, Florence Beahm of Baltimore, MD. One granddaughter also survives, Heather Lilly (Ian Bowling) of Dry Ridge, KY. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank McCullough and Robert McCullough and two sisters, Jean McCullough and Elaine Wieland and a grandson, Josh Lilly.
Visitation will be Sunday January 7, 2017 from 1:00 – 3:00 at Stanley Funeral Homes – Williamstown location. A brief memorial service will follow.
