Mary Lena Estridge

June 3, 1917 - December 24, 2017

Mary Lena Marquette Estridge of Williamstown, KY was born June 3, 1917 in Pendleton County, KY and died Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Grant Center, Williamstown at the age of 100.

She was the daughter of the late Louis Ransom and Mary Lee Gulick Marquette. She was a former operator of the D-H Restaurant, former clerk at Lowe’s Grocery, Dunn’s Meat Market, Snell’s Grocery, and a former Postal Clerk at the Williamstown Post Office, and a member of the Williamstown Baptist Church. On July 14, 1934 she was united in marriage to her late husband Charles Estridge.

Surviving is 2 sons, Charles R. “Chuck” Estridge and Kevin Estridge both of Williamstown; 1 granddaughter, Dee Estridge Wilson of Williamstown; and 2 sisters Laura Wagers of Lebanon, OH and Patsy Sue Henderson of Williamstown.

Memorial services will be at 3:00pm Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown. Visitation will be Friday 1:00-3:00pm at the funeral home.
