Peggy Jean Ashcraft

December 26, 1939 - December 2, 2017

Peggy Ashcraft, 77, widow of Lawrence Ashcraft, passed away Saturday December 2, 2017 at Grant Center. She was the daughter of the late Howard William & Lorene Schaffer Stephenson.

A member of the Gardnersville Baptist Church, she retired as a supervisor for Western-Southern Life Insurance Company; she also worked with Grant Co. IGA, as well as in food service with Dry Ridge Elementary School.

Survivors include one son, Gorton Lawrence Ashcraft of Crittenden, KY, three brothers, Howard Wayne Stephenson of Demossville, KY, Jerry Stephenson of Crittenden, KY, Rick Stephenson of Burlington, KY and one sister, Carolyn Swigert of Owenton, KY. In addition to her husband, Peggy was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Stephenson.

Funeral services will be 1PM Wednesday December 6, 2017 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Homes, Crittenden location, officiated by Rev. Joe Kozar. Visitation will begin at 11:00 and continue until the time of the funeral.  Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.

Serving as pallbearers are: Mark Stephenson, Rodney Stephenson, Ricky Stephenson, Robert Wayne Stephenson, Jeremy Stephenson and Josh Stephenson.
