James Allen Rodgers

October 4, 1945 - November 29, 2017

James A. "Buck" Rodgers was born October 4, 1945 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away November 29, 2017 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 72.  He was the son of the late Lawrence "Mutt" and Edith Harris Rodgers.

On Aug. 14, 1964 James was united in marriage to Nancy Fay Johnson Rodgers.  I addition to his wife of 53 years he is survived by 2 daughters: Stephanie Caldwell of Butler and Jennifer Fedders of Ft. Wright; a sister: Melody Adams of Crittenden; and 5 grandchildren: Clyde Caldwell, Kara Caldwell, Katie Fedders, Caroline Fedders and Will Fedders.

Buck retired as a Senior Customer Service Representative with Delta Airlines after 35 years of service. He was also a farmer and loved fishing.  He was a dedicated UK Basketball fan as well as all college sports.  He was a lifelong attendee of the Gardnersville Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017 at the Gardnersville Baptist Church in Gardnersville, KY. Visitation will be 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM, Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017 at the church.  Burial will follow in the Crittenden Cemetery.
