Joseph Duddey

Mr. Joseph L. Duddey, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the University of Tennessee  Medical Center in Knoxville, TN at the age of 87.

Mr. Duddey had retired from the U.S. Army with 20 years service where he received 2 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. His Military career was followed with several years driving for McLean Trucking.  He was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church in Williamstown. Tending his late wife's flowers, living independently and being a devoted family man were his daily goals.

Mr. Duddey was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Wanda Sue Day Duddey. He is survived by one son, Rodger Duddey (Denise) of Vass, NC, one daughter, Cecilia Riley (Rob) of Quality, KY, two granddaughters, Adair McAlister (Grant) of Bowling Green, KY,  Aimee Duddey of Vass, NC along with her children Brad and Marti.
