Virginia Louise Baker

June 30, 1940 - November 16, 2017

Virginia L. Baker was born June 30, 1940 in Walton, Kentucky and passed away November 16, 2017 in Verona, Kentucky at the age of 77.  She was the daughter of the late William Howard and Irene Louise Cook Vaughn.

Virginia was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Verona.  She was a retired assembly line worker for Duro Bag where she worked for 32 years.  She also worked as a cashier at Wal-mart for 10+ years.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as cooking, crocheting and needlepoint.

Virginia is survived by a son: Jeff C. Baker and his wife Stacey of Verona; a brother: Paul H. Vaughn of Covington; and 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband: Happy Baker in 2000.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, Nov. 20, 2017 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden.  Visitation will be 10AM - 2PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the New Bethel Cemetery in Verona.
