Phyllis Ann James

August 22, 1951 - November 16, 2017

Mrs. Phyllis James, a Williamstown resident, passed away at her residence on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the age of 66. She was the wife of Richard James.

Mrs. James was a homemaker all of her life, and a member of the Short Creek Baptist Church in Pendleton County.

Mrs. James was born to the late Robert and Viola Fox Short.  She was united in marriage to her husband Richard James on March 27, 1970.  In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by 2 daughters; Jennifer (Greg) Angell of Demossville, KY and Denise James of Williamstown, KY and 2 grandchildren; Faye Turner of Crittenden, KY and Ray Short of Dry Ridge, KY.

Visitation will be Monday, November 20, 2017 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston – Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm.  Burial will be in the KY Veteran’s Cemetery, North in Williamstown, KY.  Bro. Shane Embry will be officiating.  Memorials are suggested to the St. Elizabeth Hospice or the Short Creek Baptist Church.
