Loretta Toole

October 8, 1921 - November 14, 2017

Mrs. Loretta Ballard Toole, a Dry Ridge resident passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the age of 96. She was the widow of the late William Ray Toole.

Mrs. Toole was born to the late Kinley F. Ballard and Pearl B. Martin on October 8, 1921 near Heekin Rd in Williamstown, KY. Mrs. Toole was united in marriage to her husband William Ray Toole on April 23, 1943. Mrs. Toole is a member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church. She loved to take long 2 mile walks, even in recent years. She loved spending time with her family and cherished her time with her grandchildren. She recently was excited to be able to spend time with her newest 2 week old great grandchild.

Mrs. Toole is survived by one daughter, Tracey Henderson (Roy) of Dry Ridge, KY, one son, Barry Toole (Barbara) of Inverness, FL, four grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Toole is preceded in death by three brothers, B.L. Ballard, Donald Ballard and Kinley “J.R.” F. Ballard, Jr.

Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 2017 from 10-11am at the Eckler–McDaniel Funeral Home in Dry Ridge, KY. Funeral will also be Friday at 11am. Burial will follow at the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY. Memorials are suggested to the B.L. Ballard Scholarship Fund, P.O .Box 130, Williamstown, KY 41097.
