Mr. Avery L. Jenkins of Sadieville, KY. passed away Friday, November 10 at home at the age of 90.  Mr. Jenkins was born April 24, 1927 in Harrison County, KY. to the late Charles W. Jenkins and Sadie Mae Fookes Jenkins.  Mr. Jenkins was a lifelong farmer and a member of the Stonewall First Church of God.  Mr. Jenkins enjoyed coon hunting, fishing, horse pulls, going to any kind of auction and traveling far and wide to stock yards.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by siblings: Gertrude Jones, Ottis Jenkins, Loretta Jones, Elbert Jenkins, James Jenkins, Joyce Wright, Hazel Jenkins, Lydie Jones, Stanley Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife, Joy Lou Dunaway Jenkins, 1 son: Ivan L. Jenkins of Sadieville, KY., 3 daughters: Martha May Canter of Cynthiana, KY., Sherry Kay McClurg of Georgetown, KY., Armeda Gay Jones of Sadieville, KY., 1 sister: Theola Fryman of Union, KY., 9 grandchildren: Amanda Bailey, Heather Perkins, Chasidy Souders, Matthew T. Jones, Joseph Jenkins, Tyler Jenkins, Ronald McClurg, Rachael Wallace, Bryan McClurg, 13 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Avery L. Jenkins will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, November 15 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. James Hendrix and Rev. Jackie Anderson officiating.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.
