Carolyn Ann Hurst

August 15, 1947 - November 6, 2017

Carolyn Ann Thurman Hurst was born Aug. 15, 1947 in Carrollton, KY and passed away Nov. 6, 2017 in Carrollton, KY at the age of 70. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Nellie Justice Thurman.

Carolyn was a retired Home Health Aid with Personal Touch Home Health Care as well as many nursing homes including Dry Ridge Personal Care, Grant Manor, and Florence Park.

Carolyn loved playing Bingo and gardening.  She also loved animals, especially her dogs and cats.

She is survived by her companion: George Hurst of Williamstown; 3 sons: Terry Hicks of Florida, Timmy Hicks of Tennessee and Glenn Hicks of Cynthiana; a daughter: Tammy Rexroat of Owenton; a sister: Linda Thurman of Sparta; and several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 12:00-2:00 PM Thursday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
