Janet F. Caldwell Longbons

May 22, 1941 - November 3, 2017

LONGBONS, Janet F. Caldwell, 76, longtime resident of Crescent Springs, KY, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at her residence following a long illness. A native of Williamstown, KY she was a daughter of the late Herbert and Della Bennett Caldwell. She was a graduate of the Williamstown High School, and attended Georgetown College and graduated from University of Kentucky. She enjoyed a 33 year career as a public schools elementary teacher in Boone Co., KY and the Fairview Elementary School Bi-Lingual program with Cincinnati Public Schools. She was a former model and taught at the Galloway Modeling School in Cincinnati. She also helped her son part time at the Action Computer Services in Northern Kentucky. She was an ice skater, a past board member, and a longtime treasurer of the Queen City Figure Skating Club from which she received the prestigious Churchill & Meiss Award for volunteering a tremendous amount of service to the club over a period of years. She was also a member of the Florence Baptist Temple.

She is survived by her son, Chad Longbons, Crescent Springs, KY, her daughter, Michelle (Kenny) Marhoffer, Wooster, OH, her faithful companion, Richard Longbons, Crescent Springs, KY, one brother, Larry R. Caldwell, Florence, KY, a sister, Brenda C. Stanley, Williamstown, KY, and several nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm Tuesday, Nov. 7 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, KY 41097 with funeral services to follow at the funeral home at 7:00pm Tuesday. There will also be Visitation from 11:00am-1:00pm Wednesday, Nov. 8 in the Highland Cemetery Chapel, 2167 Dixie Highway, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017 with a committal service to follow at 1:00pm.
