Harry Thomas Howard

January 22, 1931 - November 3, 2017

Harry Thomas Howard was born in Keefer, Kentucky in Grant County on January 22, 1931 and passed away at his home in Anderson Township, Ohio on November 3, 2017 at the age of 86.  Mr. Howard was the son of the late Wesley and Katherine Odor Howard.

Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Verna Barlow Howard on September 23, 1992.  He is survived by three sons: Pat Howard and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Independence, Randy Howard and his wife, Shellie, of Burlington and John Howard and his wife, Bonnie, of Cincinnati; one daughter: Patricia Ann Mackin and her husband, Joe, of Cincinnati; three sisters: Brenda Allen of Connorsville, IN, Berdella Hardin of Connorsville, IN and Wanda King of Williamstown; 21 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.  Two sons: Rick Howard and Wendell Howard also preceded Harry in death.

A member of the American Legion, Mr. Howard was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War.  He was an electrician for the City of Cincinnati.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Eckler -McDaniel Funeral Home, 30 South Main St., Dry Ridge, KY 41035.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Tuesday.  Burial will be in the Broadridge Cemetery with full military honors.
