Elizabeth Frances McCammon Hamilton

Elizabeth Frances McCammon Hamilton of Dry Ridge, KY was born July 30, 1930 in Lincoln County, KY and died Thursday, November 2, 2017 at her residence at the age of 87.

She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys Marie Walls McCammon, a homemaker, a member of the Order of Eastern Star Dorcas #277 in Cincinnati, OH, and a member of the Elmwood Wesleyan Church, Elmwood Place, OH. On September 15, 1952 she was united in marriage to her husband Travis Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Lewis Richard McCammon and Frank McCammon, and 1 sister, Pina Patterson.

In addition to her husband Travis, she is also survived by 1 son, Donald Eugene Hamilton, Sr. of Union, KY; 3 grandchildren, Dawn J. Leigh (Darrin) of Dry Ridge, KY, Billie J. Sharrock (Doug) of Dry Ridge, KY, and Donald E. Hamilton, Jr. of League City, TX; 7 great-grandchildren, Gary Hamilton, Scott Sharrock, Sean Sharrock, Susan Sharrock, Dylan Hamilton, Austin Leigh, and Kyle Leigh.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00pm Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY. Visitation will also be Sat. 11:00-1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at 11:00am Mon. Nov. 6, 2017 at the Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY.
