Gladys Lynch

January 19, 1925 - October 27, 2017

Mrs. Gladys Lynch of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Friday, October 27 at home at the age of 92.  Mrs. Lynch was born January 19, 1925 in Rose Hill, Virginia to the late Mack Cavins and Delia Dash Cavins.  Mrs. Lynch was retired from the Clopay Corporation and attended the Sherman Full Gospel Church.  Mrs. Lynch enjoyed quilting, visiting churches, travel, playing her guitar and is fondly remembered by her family for carrying and giving away lollipops.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by her husband, Roy "Pop" Lynch in 1991 and by a daughter: Flora Johnson.

Mrs. Lynch is survived by a daughter: Caroline Stanley of Dry Ridge, KY. and by a son: Kenneth Roy Lynch also of Dry Ridge, KY., 1 brother: J. B. Ayers of Virginia.  She has 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gladys Lynch will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, November 4 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge, with Rev. Terry Bledsoe and Rev. Gayliss Gaines officiating.  Visitation will be there on Saturday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Dry Ridge, KY.
