William “Bill” L. Barnhill, a Butler resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017 at the age of 74.
Mr. Barnhill was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Barnhill and sister, Dorothy Hammonds. He is survived by the love of his life and best friend of over 25 yrs, Janis Dunaway Stegner. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one sister, Juanita Lancaster of Georgetown, KY and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Barnhill was a retired truck driver of 29 years for the Brinkman Oil Company of Walton, KY. He loved UK Basketball, square dancing, barrel horse racing, and all sports combined.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 11am-1pm at the Eckler-McDaniel funeral home in Dry Ridge, KY. Funeral will follow at 1pm. Burial will be in the Sadieville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the Sadieville Cemetery or the American Lung Association.Guestbook
