Yvonne Hammond Gaines

Yvonne Hammond Gaines of Dry Ridge, KY was born December 2, 1935 in Owen County, KY and died Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in Florence, KY at the age of 81.

She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lillian Irene Whitton Hammond, and she was a founder and Pastor Emeritus of the Sherman Full Gospel Assembly Church. On June 26, 1955 she was united in marriage to her late husband Rev. Gayle Franklin Gaines.

Surviving is 1 son, Rev. Gayliss Ray (Mary) Gaines of Dry Ridge, KY; 1 sister, Betty Carol Lusby of Ft. Mitchell, KY; and 1 nephew, Timothy Lusby of Ft. Mitchell, KY.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Sherman Full Gospel Assembly, with burial to follow at the Hill Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Friday, and 10:00am-12:00 noon Saturday at the church.
