Edith West

Mrs. Edith Holbrook West of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Tuesday, October 10 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown, KY. at the age of 79.  Mrs. West was born April 10, 1938 in Jackson, KY.   Mrs. West was a homemaker and a member of the Williamstown Pentecostal Church of God.  Mrs. West enjoyed tending to her flowers, and cooking for her family.  She most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending her church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. West was preceded in death by 2 sons: Walter Brown in 2011 and David Brown in 2013.

Mrs. West is survived by her husband: Bill West, sons: Charles Brown and Roger Brown both of Delhi, Ohio, daughters: Marlene Osborne of Dry Ridge, KY., Maxine Scott of Wilmington, OH., Cindy Hook of Erlanger, KY., brothers: Forrest Holbrook and Burt Holbrook both of Michigan, Melvin Holbrook of Breathitt Co., KY., sisters: Nora Alice Williams, Ethel Berry and Faye Armstrong all of Breathitt Co., KY., 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith Holbrook West will be conducted 2:00 pm Friday, October 13 at the Williamstown Pentecostal Church of God, 749 South Main Street, Williamstown, KY. 41097 with Bro. Garlin Back officiating.   Visitation will be at the church also on Friday from 12:00 noon - 2:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
