Troy Edward Bailey

January 17, 1939 - October 8, 2017

Troy Edward Bailey, 78, a Williamstown resident, passed away Sunday October 8, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood, KY.  He was the widower of Emma Jean Sumpter Bailey; she preceded him in death on January 14, 2017. He was born in Harlan Co., KY to the late James Isaac and Minnie Mae Seal Bailey on January 17, 1939.

“Ed” was a maintenance man in several factories and most recently owned and operated, along with his late wife, “Maw & Paw’s” Restaurant in Owenton, KY. He was a very likeable person, never met a stranger and loved fishing.

He is survived by a son, Dan M. Bailey of Williamstown, KY; two daughters, Mary Henry of Warsaw, KY and Pam Richerson of Fairfield, OH; one brother, Jake (Janie) Bailey of Owenton, KY and two sisters, Lola (Rev. Joe) Howard of Dry Ridge and Louise Wilder of Miracle, KY. Numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

A graveside service will be conducted at the convenience of the family at Broadridge Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.
