Alice Virginia Burk

July 14, 1926 - September 17, 2017

Alice Miller Burk, a Dry Ridge resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017 at the age of 91.

She was a retired nurses aid for VA Hospitals in Oregan and Iowa with over 35 years of dedicated service.  She was an Army veteran and member of the Sherman Baptist Church.

Mrs. Burk is survived by two sons, Richard Burk (Libby) of Dry Ridge, KY, Donald Burk of Cornelius, OR, one daughter, Christa Glandon of Tigard, OR,  one sister, Wilma Miller of Montana Mines, WV, 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.  Mrs. Burk was preceded in death by two sons, Robert and Terry Burk and a granddaughter, Tasha Mulheisen.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 11am-1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Crittenden, KY.  Funeral Services will follow at 1pm.  Burial will be at the KY Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, KY.  Memorials are suggested to the American Alzheimer's Association.
