Larry Pipes

March 5, 1941 - September 16, 2017

Mr. Lawrence Lee Pipes of Covington, KY. passed away Saturday, September 16 at the Rosedale Green Nursing Home in Covington, KY. at the age of 76.  Larry as he was better known to family and friends was born March 5, 1941 in Ft. Mitchell, KY. to the late Jesse and Lula Frye Pipes.  Larry worked for many years in auto parts counter sales and drove a wrecker.  Most recently he had worked at Rolly's Auto Parts.  He was a member of the Latonia Christian Church.  Larry loved all types of sports especially Cincinnati Reds Baseball, Cincinnati Bengals and the University of Kentucky basketball team.  He had an incredible memory and could quote statistics from years ago.

Larry is survived by a brother: Jim Pipes of Ft. Wright, KY., sisters: Peggy Spurlock of Independence, KY., Sharon Heuser of Taylor Mill, KY. and Pam Schworer of Ft. Wright, KY.  He also has several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence Lee Pipes will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 20 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge.  Visitation will be there on Wednesday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Burial will be in the New Vine Run Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
