Bazel L. Osborne

September 12, 1939 - September 13, 2017

Bazel L. Osborne of Erlanger, KY was born September 12, 1939 in Elliston, KY and died Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at his residence in Erlanger at the age of 78.

He was the son of the late Gorman Thaddeus and Ramalee Beach Osborne, a 1958 Grant County High School Graduate, a U.S. Army Veteran, a retired Quality Control Supervisor for Square D in Florence, KY, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #1469 Covington, KY, a past Post Commander for American Legion Post #137, and a member of the Lawrenceville Baptist Church. On September 10, 1978 he was united in marriage to his wife Laura Estelle Hoppe Osborne.

Surviving is his wife, Laura; 4 sisters, Lucille McCune of Williamstown, Elizabeth Morgan of Pensacola, FL, Mavis Dimmitt of Springboro, OH, and Sylvia Parker of Lexington; 9 step children; 17 step grandchildren; 20 step great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, followed by burial in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North. Visitation will be 2:00-4:00pm Sunday, September 17, 2017 at the funeral home.
