Jean O'Hara

August 14, 1941 - September 7, 2017

Mrs. Deloris Jean O'Hara of Corinth, KY. passed away Thursday, September 7 at her residence at the age of 76.  Mrs. O'Hara was born August 14, 1941 in Owenton, KY. to the late Walter Halfhill and Gladys Wright Halfhill.  Mrs. O'Hara worked for many years as a waitress and was a member of the St. William Catholic Church.  Mrs. O'Hara loved to travel.  Before her illness she enjoyed cooking for her family and is remembered fondly by them for her smile that she always had.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. O'Hara was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William O'Hara in 1997 and by a daughter: Kathy Darlene O'Hara in February of this year.

Mrs. O'Hara is survived by sons: Mike O'Hara of Corinth, KY., Pat O'Hara of Burlington, KY., a brother: Wayne Halfhill of Corinth, KY., sisters: Diane Herrington of Cynthiana, KY., Carol O'Banion of Dry Ridge, KY., her long time dear friend and companion, Ken Fields and she was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Deloris Jean O'Hara will be 11:00 am Monday, September 11 at the St. William Catholic Church in Williamstown, KY. with Rev. Damien Hils officiating.  Visitation will be Sunday, September 10 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth.  Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
