Brenda Joyce Reece

April 8, 1945 - September 1, 2017

Brenda Joyce Reece was born April 8, 1945 in Covington, Kentucky and passed away September 1, 2017 in Florence, Kentucky at the age of 72.  She was the daughter of the late Perry and Bessie Mae Dunn Lloyd.

Brenda was united in marriage to James Douglas Reece in 1960.  He preceded her in death in 1983.

She was a homemaker and member of New Life Apostolic Church in Crittenden, KY.  She was also a foster parent for many years in Boone and Kenton County Areas.

Brenda is survived by 2 sons: James J. Reece and his wife Sue of Erlanger and Danny Lee Reece of Newport; a daughter: Tonda G. Murphy and her husband Gene of Dry Ridge; a brother: Ronald Lloyd and wife Pat of Latonia; a sister: Debbie Dispennette and husband Dan of Williamstown; 4 grandchildren: Jesse Reece, Jessica Smith, Danielle Lipscomb and Alex Slone; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 6:30 PM Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2017 at the New Life Apostolic Church, 1645 Gardnersville Rd., Crittenden, KY  41030.  Visitation will be 3:00 - 6:30 PM Wednesday at the Church.  Committal services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 at Hebron Lutheran Church Cemetery.
