Overton Dunn

January 25, 1927 - August 19, 2017

Mr. Overton Dunn, a Walton resident, passed away at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at the age of 90. He was the husband of Wanda White Dunn.

Mr. Dunn was a retired machinist from Fischer Manufacturing Co. of Cold Springs, KY for over 30 years and a WWII Veteran. He was the oldest member of the American Legion Post #277 of Walton, KY, a member of the Good Guys Club in Walton, he loved to garden and the outdoors.

In addition to his wife, Wanda, he is survived by one son, Gordon Dunn (Carole) of Walton, KY, one daughter, Paula Carnes (David) of Morning View, KY, one brother, Marvin Dunn of Villa Hills, KY, four grandchildren, Chris Dunn, Brad Dunn, Keesha Carnes, James Carnes and nine great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family at the KY Veteran’s Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the American Legion Post #277, 415 Jones Rd., Walton, KY 41094 or the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pk, Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
