Juanita Mulberry

November 1, 1928 - August 17, 2017

Mrs. Juanita Mulberry of Scott County, KY. passed away Thursday, August 17 at the Dover Manor Nursing Home in Georgetown, KY. at the age of 88.  Mrs. Mulberry was born in Scott County, KY. to the late Jeff Michael and Ophelia Gillispie Michael.  Mrs. Mulberry was a homemaker and farmer and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church.  Mrs. Mulberry loved to have company come over and cook for them.  She enjoyed senior citizen dinners and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan.  Mrs. Mulberry will be most remembered by her family as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mulberry was preceded in death by a son: Herb Mulberry in 2014.

Mrs. Mulberry is survived by her husband of nearly 71 years, John H. Mulberry, Sr., 3 sons: Jerry Mulberry of Georgetown, KY., John H. Mulberry, Jr. and his wife Donna of Sadieville, KY., Rick Mulberry of Sadieville, KY., 2 sisters: Doris Fain of Georgetown, KY., Ann Zeysing of Sadieville, KY. and she has 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita Mulberry will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday, August 23 at the Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Jackson officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, August 22 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth and there will be additional visitation Wednesday the church the hour before the funeral.  Burial will be in the Crestlawn Cemetery, Georgetown, KY.  Those serving as pallbearers are: Casey Mulberry, Matthew Mulberry, Scott Markey, Jamie Vass, John Daniels and Jimmy Daniels.
