Terry Layne Hensley

May 8, 1949 - July 22, 2017

Mr. Terry Layne Hensley of Ft. Mitchell, KY. passed away Saturday, July 22 in Jasper, Indiana at the age of 68.  Mr. Hensley was better known to his friends as "Byrd" and "Butch".  Mr. Hensley was born May 8, 1949 in Verona, KY. to the late William Hensley and Martha Webster Hensley.  Mr. Hensley worked in contractor sales for Lowe's Home Improvement.  Mr. Hensley was an avid golfer and music lover, particularly the Beatles.  He enjoyed target shooting as well.  But most of all, he will be remembered by his family for being a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Hensley is survived by his wife, Brenda Smith Hensley, 3 sons: Timothy L. Hensley and his wife Melissa of Union, KY., Zachary S. Hensley of Dry Ridge, KY., Cason A. Hensley and his wife Cheryl of Independence, KY., 3 brothers: James Hensley of Walton, KY., Donald Hensley of Crittenden, KY., Gary Hensley of Walton, KY., 4 sisters: Betty Smith of Dry Ridge, KY., Gayle Smith of Crittenden, KY., Bobbi Riesenbeck of Florence, KY., Shelia Hensley of Dry Ridge, KY., 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Memorial services for Mr. Terry Layne Hensley will be 1:00 pm Thursday, July 27 at Sherman Full Gospel Church with Rev. Gayliss Gaines officiating.  Visitation will be at the church also on Thursday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.

Memorial contributions if desired may be directed to the family, in care of the funeral home.
