Wanda J. Turner

March 23, 1933 - May 10, 2017

Mrs. Wanda J. Turner, 84 of Nitro, formerly of Covington, KY, went home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2017 in the Hubbard Hospice House West.

She resided in Covington, KY for most of her life and was a member of Eastside Church of the Nazarene.  She later lived in Nitro, WV where she was cared for by her daughter and attended Nitro Church of the Nazarene.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ledford Turner, parents and siblings.

She is survived by her daughter Carla Raynes; grandsons Ryan (Caralyne) Raynes and Hunter Raynes; sister Evaleen (Arville) Epperson and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special thank you to her caregivers and the staff at Hospice for the wonderful care given to Wanda.

A tribute to the life of Mrs. Wanda Turner will be Noon Monday May 15, 2017 at Eastside Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Robert "Bobby" Race officiating.  Burial will follow in Williamstown Cemetery.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service on Monday at the church.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Nitro Church of the Nazarene, Eastside Church of the Nazarene or the Hubbard Hospice House West.
