Walter Joseph Sears, Jr.

August 20, 1950 - May 6, 2017

Walter J. Sears, Jr., 66, passed away Saturday May 6, 2017 at his home. He was born August 20, 1950 to Mildred Baker Sears and the late Walter Joseph Sears, Sr. in Springdale, OH. He retired from Duro Bag in Richwood, served our country in the Army Reserves, was a member of the NRA, had served on the Piner Volunteer Fire Department and was an avid hunter.

He is survived by his mother, Mildred Baker Sears of Springdale, OH; two sons, Rev. Jim (Cindy) Sears of Mason, KY, Jason Sears of Dry Ridge, KY; one brother, Wilbur Sears of Michigan; two sisters, Mary and Wilma from Ohio. Five grandchildren also survive: Joseph Barnes, Hali Sears-Rose, Gwen Hamblin, Garrett Rankin and Keifer Sears.

Visitation will be Friday May 12th from 11:00 - 1:00 at Mason Baptist Church with the funeral service beginning at 1:00. Burial will be in the Mason Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Mason Baptist Church 320 Mason Rd. Williamstown, KY 41097
