Marvin Ray Evans

Marvin Ray “Shorty” Evans of Jonesville, KY was born December 12, 1960 in Owenton, KY and died Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Jonesville Personal Care Home at the age of 56.

Marvin was the son of the late Marvin Calup and Nancy Mae Hounchell Evans, a former farmer, and attended the Macedonia Baptist Church.

Marvin is survived by 2 sisters, Jo Ann McCormick of Corinth and Ruth Ann Lewis of Dry Ridge; 2 brothers, Claude Evans of Demossville and Jerry Wayne Evans of Williamstown; and one aunt, Ruth E. Evans of Williamstown.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, followed by burial in the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Williamstown. Visitation will also be Saturday, 11:00am-12:00noon at the funeral home.
