Linda Woodyard

December 27, 1950 - March 3, 2017

Linda Kinman Woodyard was born Dec. 27, 1950 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky and passed away March 3, 2017 at her residence in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 66.  She was the daughter of the late Hiram Samuel and Emma Sullivan Osbourne Kinman.

On Jan. 26, 1968 Linda was united in marriage to Woody A. Woodyard.  In addition to her husband of 49 years she is survived by 2 daughters: Dawn Clayton (Brian) of Williamstown and Tammi Powell (Chris) of Independence; 3 brothers: Kenneth Lee Kinman (Geraldine) of Hartford, AL, Thurman Kinman (Claudine) of Jonesville and Harold Kinman (Teresa) of Hartford, AL; 2 sisters: Freda Stephenson (Wayne) of Demossville and Glenna Smith (Larry) of Dry Ridge; and 4 grandchildren: Sara Allen (Brendan) of Cynthiana, Cassidy Clayton of Williamstown, Jackie Powell of Louisville and Micah Powell of Independence.

Linda was a retired hairdresser for House of Hair in Dry Ridge and a member of the Williamstown Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: James Brown Kinman and Estel Kinman; and 2 sisters: Nadine Martin, Betty Hunter and Jeanette Kinman.

Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Visitation will be 4-7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Williamstown Cemetery.
