Mr. Michael Owen Rodgers of Crittenden, KY. passed away Wednesday, March 1 at home at the age of 73.  Mr. Rodgers was born April 20, 1943 in Covington, KY. to Edith Harris Rodgers and the late Lawrence Rodgers.  Mr. Rodgers was a 37 year employee for Greif Co. in Florence, later Natico and at the time of his passing Mr. Rodgers was a member of the Crittenden Baptist Church.  Mr. Rodgers enjoyed fishing and watching the University of Kentucky Wildcat Basketball Team.

Mr. Rodgers was preceded in death by his wife: Sandra Rodgers in 2006, his father: Lawrence "Mutt" Rodgers on Feb. 21, 1978, by a sister: Joy Beach on July 24, 2014, by brothers: Lyle Rodgers on May 1, 2016 and Dennis Rodgers on Feb. 10, 2017.

Mr. Rodgers is survived by 2 sons: Michael Rodgers and his wife Lisa of Crittenden, KY., Donnie Rodgers and his wife Patty of Dry Ridge, KY., a daughter: Crystal Smith and her husband Roy of Aurora, IN., his mother: Edith Harris Rodgers of Crittenden, KY., a sister: Melody Adams of Crittenden, KY., a brother: James Rodgers of Crittenden, KY.  He has 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. Michael Owen Rodgers will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, March 4 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Joe Kozar officiating.  Visitation will be there on Saturday from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Crittenden Cemetery.
