Laura Sue Gibson

July 11, 1938 - February 20, 2017

Laura Sue Gibson was born to the late Allen Emerson and Portia Tomlinson Spillman on July 11, 1938 and passed away at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, Kentucky on February 20, 2017 at the age of 78.

On December 15, 1956, she was united in marriage with Donald Thomas Gibson.  From this union one son was born: Kevin Gibson.  In addition to her loving husband and son, Laura Sue is survived by her dear daughter-in-law, Kathy Wilson Gibson.

Mrs. Gibson was a longtime member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter #301 in Williamstown.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, 500 N. Main St., Williamstown, Kentucky 41097.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 - 8 PM, Thursday.  Burial will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
