Darlene O'Hara

September 11, 1961 - February 18, 2017

Kathy Darlene O'Hara of Newport, KY. and formerly of Corinth, KY. passed away Saturday, February 18 at home at the age of 55.  Darlene was born September 11, 1961 in Owenton, KY. to Delores Jean Halfhill O'Hara and the late Robert William O'Hara.  Darlene was a self employed computer programmer and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crescent Springs, KY.   Darlene loved her family and family get togethers and was usually the one who planned them.  She enjoyed watching and cheering the Cincinnati Bengals, going to concerts and any rock and roll music.  Cincinnati's Party in the Park was a favorite place to visit as well as going to various restaurants.

Darlene is survived by a daughter: Chelsea (Travis Burk) Cason of Lexington, KY., a son: Eric O'Hara of Fayette County, KY., her mother: Jean Halfhill O'Hara of Corinth, KY., 2 brothers: Mike O'Hara of Corinth, KY., Pat O'Hara of Burlington, KY., 5 grandchildren: Bailey O'Hara, Alison O'Hara, Karlie O'Hara, Denver Burk and Levi O'Hara.

Funeral services for Kathy Darlene O'Hara will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, February 23 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Damien Hils officiating.  Visitation will be there on Thursday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.  Burial will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
