Samuel Wayne Patton

Samuel W. Patton of Dry Ridge, KY was born February 7, 1959 in Cincinnati, OH and died Friday, January 27, 2017 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Grant County at the age of 57.

He was the son of the late Curtis and Gracie Barbara Megaha Patton, a retired farmer and shuttle bus driver for the Greater Cincinnati Airport, and a member of the First Love Church, Dry Ridge. On November 18, 1977 he was united in marriage to his wife, Verajoe McPherron Patton.

In addition to his wife Verajoe, also surviving is 2 sons, Jonah Patton of Dry Ridge, and Jamuel (Kelly) Patton of La Follette, TN; 2 grandchildren; 6 brothers, Bradley Patton of Bedford, KY, Jay Patton of Dry Ridge, Ray Patton of Owenton, Curtis Patton, Jr. of Dry Ridge, Lance Patton of Burlington, and Stanley Patton of Owenton; and 3 sisters, Barbara Patton Chavez of Sparta, Becky Patton of Covington, and Camilla Kay Patton pf Dry Ridge.

Funeral services will be11:00am Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge followed by burial in the Owenton Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge.
